Impact On The Organization

This module gives the employee the information and tools to effectively plan and direct their own career. The workshop includes assignments needed to prepare a career plan and includes documents and assessments necessary to be successful.

  • To educate you about resources so that you may continue to learn on your own

In Career Planning, participants will begin to think about future career paths and map that path against organizational requirements, educational requirements, technical requirements, and/or personal strengths and opportunities for growth. Participants will begin to assess their skills and abilities and determine what skills need to be developed further. They will also begin to develop a plan to achieve a short term job/career goal within their organization. Finally, the participants will learn and practice how to discuss their career goals with their supervisor or manager.
