Program Description
In Building Successful Teams, participants discover the characteristics of high-performing teams, the stages of team growth, and proven steps for improving team performance. Participants learn a step-by-step approach that encompasses every facet of team behavior, and every process that impacts team performance. Through simulations, participants experience key team processes, including: defining roles and responsibilities, setting and communicating priorities and changes, and managing conflict. They gain powerful insights into the differences between building teams within participants’ organizations and across functional boundaries. They also master advanced techniques for capturing the individual and collective talents of their team members, and empowering teams at the appropriate level for each assignment. All these concepts and tools are applied throughout the workshop, as participants analyze their own team, and plan for its development.
